In this audio lecture, sponsored by the Stanford Center for Social Innovation, Jeff Patrick of Common Knoweldge clarifies exactly what social networking is, how it works, and why it is valuable for nonprofits. He offers insights, in particular, as to how such organizations can use social networking on the Web to reach constituents and fundraise. Ultimately, he presents a broad horizon view of where social networking is headed and how nonprofits can incorporate it into their strategic planning.
